• Fluoridation of our drinking water. 3% of Europe 73% for Ireland. Fluoridation of our drinking water should be immediately stopped – Fluoride is “a metabolic & enzymatic poison”, Scientist Declan Waugh. It contributes to Ireland being the sickest country in Europe and having the third highest cancer rates in the world. (Fluoridation of our water is also costing taxpayers over €10m p/a.)
• Legislation to stop the use of non-recyclable plastics. Removing fluoride from our water would make it more drinkable; negating the need to buy bottled water. Chlorine etc. in our water can be removed in our homes using relatively cheap filters.

• A fundamental review of our bloated €17bn health system using the world’s best healthcare systems as templates with a focus on physical & mental health care and wellness for all.

• Increased support & funding for Crisis Pregnancy Centers – Life Support – (Providing support, information, advice & counselling on parenting & adoption.)

• Establish a Comprehensive network of Community/Public Banks in Ireland similar to Germany with 70% Community/Public Banks. Banking in the Public Interest!

1. German Community/Public banks offer your average mortgage at 1.1% fixed for 10 years; that’s over €100k less to pay over the life of the mortgage compared to Ireland.

2. They also provide mentored loans to business & start-up businesses at 1.1% to 3%.

WiFi in Schools & Public Places.

• Ireland must enact & enforce the 2011 guidelines, Resolution 1815 on Wi-Fi, to protect Children’s health in school. One Irish school tested had exposure levels 1,000 times the recommended maximum level.

The Safe Regulation of WiFi in Schools & Public Places under Resolution 1815 (2011): 21^st May, 2019

Resolution 1815 (2011),¹ titled, ‘The potential dangers of electromagnetic fields and their effect on the environment’, seeks to protect the health of the public and in particular that of children in school.

Currently, Ireland affords some level of protection to workers under the SAFETY, HEALTH AND WELFARE AT WORK (ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS) REGULATIONS 2016,² but affords none to Children in Schools:

One primary school tested in Ireland was found to have WiFi radiation levels, of over one thousand times the maximum recommended. This system was powered on all day.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted Resolution 1815 (2011) in which it considered that there was sufficient proof of the potentially harmful effects of electromagnetic fields (EMF) on the environment and human health. In the document, the Council proposed that its member States take measures concerning the use of mobile phones and WiFi networks and specifically asked for a ban on such devices in schools.

In Dec 2011, Mr Dalli on behalf of the Commission stated, “According to the Treaty, the Member States are responsible for the protection of public health and the Union does not have the legal competence to issue binding legislation on adverse health effects of EMF.”

WiFi in schools and its carcinogenic effect on children:

Following a health study into WiFi in schools in Israel, and its carcinogenic effect on children.

Israel introduced Serious Restrictions on the use of WiFi in Schools,

• WiFi is total banned for children up to the age of 6 years,
• Children are allowed only 1 hour exposure up to 3rd Grade,
• Children are allowed only 1 to 2 hours exposure up to 6th Grade,
• The WiFi has to be turned off at all other times.

Overwhelming evidence indicates that in the interest of children’s and the public’s health, WiFI in schools and public places should to be monitored and regulated as per recommendations of Resolution 1815.
